SynbiCITE, along with the BIA – the UK’s biotechnology trade association - is headed to San Francisco, USA, to promote the UK synthetic biology industry to their American counterparts, as well as industry leaders and investors in the San Francisco bay area and beyond.

The SynbiCITE-BIA team’s ‘Partnering Lounge’ at SynBioBeta will grow collaborations and undoubtedly lead to numerous partnerships between American and British biotechnology and synthetic biology companies, strengthening the global reputation of the UK as a centre for science and biotechnology developments.

Continuing relationship and business-building developed from several years’ collaboration with SynBioBeta at the USA and UK conferences, SynbiCITE will be promoting its joint competition with Rainbow Seed Fund for start-ups – Bio-Start.uk - at the conference and future UK-based engineering biology events such as the joint IET-SynbiCITE conference in December.
